Donna Guthery is a licensed acupuncturist, herbalist and family nurse practitioner in the State of Texas. She graduated from the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Houston, Texas with a Masters Degree in Oriental Medicine. She also trained at Zhejiang College of TCM and received post graduate oriental medicine certification in Hepatitis C from UC San Francisco and Quan Yin Oriental Medical Clinic in San Francisco.
Donna has 2 Masters degrees in nursing, one in critical care and one as a family nurse practitioner. She has over 29 years of western medicine experience at various academic institutions in the Texas Medical Center. These include: Leukemia Service, Neurosurgery and Medical Breast Oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Pediatric Cardiology at Texas Childrens Hospital. She's also been an Assistant Professor at UTMB Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program.
As an adjunct to her practice, Donna is a certified practitioner in The Body Talk System™, and in New Decision TherapyTM.
